A provider unable to operate these platforms cannot run payroll in the Kingdom, whatever its sales pitch may suggest.
The Saudi riyal is paid by domestic bank transfer. Arabic is the reference language for administrative and contractual documents. The Kingdom takes part in no multilateral coordination mechanism with Europe.
One structural point must be grasped at the outset: old-age insurance covers only nationals and citizens of Gulf states, while foreign employees fall only within the work injury branch. The employer cost profile therefore differs radically according to the employee's nationality, with no European equivalent. Every practical question in the Kingdom therefore comes back to platform access and to document validity.
